Zim. integrated Health Situation Room sensitization workshop.

UNAIDS Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Support Team is conducting a one day technical training workshop for Mohcc senior managers.

The situation room, is an integrated high level dashboard, shows performance of key strategic indicators. This is implemented in line with the e-government launched by the OPC. It allows the managers to drill down the date and identity where the problems are and address them.

UNAIDS is promoting the use of data for informing programme planning& implementation. Its a user friendly tool& can be used by policy and decision makers as well as implementers.'What gets measured gets done', Dr Martin Odiit UNAIDS Country Director a.i./SI Adviser

The Health Situation Room concept is an opportunity to strengthen analysis and response within health systems through the use of an innovative platform which allows governments, decision makers and programme managers to easily analyze and view a selection of key indicators relevant to the country. The main value added of the solution is its capacity to merge data coming from multiple national data sources (DHIS, LMIS, community data, etc.) into one system.
