Government to increase COVID-19 vaccination pace

Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Monica Mutsvangwa recently in a post –Cabinet brief informed members of the media that Cabinet has seen that some provinces were lagging behind in terms of COVID-19 vaccination, therefore, the focus would be placed on such provinces so that they catch up with the rest of the country.

Teenagers now eligible for vaccination

Zimbabwe had been exploring the feasibility of vaccinating teenagers aged between 14 and 17 years against COVID-19 as a way of increasing protection of the population and on Wednesday, Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa in a post-Cabinet media briefing announced that Cabinet has finally made the approval.
