Internal Audit Directorate
The major responsibility of the Internal Audit Directorate is to ensure accountability, probity and transparency in the management of all resources including assets, public and donor funds advanced to the Ministry by testing the robustness of and compliance with procedures. The Directorate also ensures that Audit work conforms to the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Audit and Exchequer Act. The Audit Directorate is also responsible for audit and risk management functions within the Ministry.
