of using ICT as a means of enhancing efficiency in the delivery of health services. ICT has the potential to impact almost every aspect of the health sector.\u00a0 Health information management and communication processes are pivotal to the management of public health initiatives and are facilitated and or limited by the available information communication technologies in a country.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">In addition, beyond the formal health sector, the ability of impoverished communities to access services and engage with and demand for health services that respond to their priorities and needs, is importantly influenced by wider information and communication processes mediated by ICT.
