Ministry of Health and Child Care joined the rest of the world in commemorating World Oral Health Day emphasizing how oral health is connected to general health and health being at a colourful ceremony in Harare yesterday.
Nestle Nutrition Institute Africa (NNIA) donated 63 neonatal resuscitation kits valued at US$7000 to the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
The kits were handed over to the ministry at a colorful handover ceremony held at the Ministry of Health and Child Care Head Office today.
Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the Minister of Health and Child Care, Principal Director Preventive Services Dr Gibson Mhlanga said, "this is an important event where we are here to witness the handover of 63 neonatal resuscitation kits from Nestlé Nutrition Institute Africa.”

Diabetes is a disease in which the body’s ability to produce or respond to the hormone insulin is impaired, resulting in abnormal metabolism of carbohydrates and elevated levels of glucose in the blood.
My ministry wishes to give an update on the Cholera outbreak situation in Chegutu Municipality in Mashonaland West Province. I wish to let the nation know that there is no spread of cases to other parts of the country and that this outbreak is confined and contained only in Chegutu Town.
